Your responsibilities will encompass supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
Job Specifications:
- Responsible for regular supervision of the nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and leadership and ensuring that all nursing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Involve actively in coordinating patient care activities, ensuring that patients receive appropriate treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain quality standards in patient care, including monitoring patient outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Assess situations, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in the best interest of patients and the healthcare facility.
- Responsible for maintaining effective communication with patients, healthcare providers and administration and conveying information clearly to staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for managing resources such as medical supplies, equipment, and personnel efficiently to optimize patient care delivery.
- Responsible for maintaining the accurate documentation of patient information, care provided, and other relevant data is essential for maintaining continuity of care and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for promoting a safe environment for patients and staff such as identifying and addressing potential risks, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring adherence to infection control measures.
- Serve as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disagreements among nursing staff members.
- Responsible for evaluating the performance of nursing staff through regular assessments, feedback sessions, and performance appraisals.
- Involvement in improving the performance and skill of nurses by identifying the areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback, and recognising exemplary performance.
- Assist Nursing and Clinical Management Coordinator (NCMC) in coordination and management areas.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by NIHS.
Qualification and Skills:
- Education: PCL/BN in Nursing (registered with Nepal Nursing Council).
- Excellent knowledge of clinical protocols, nursing care methods, and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (e.g., sanitation, decontamination) and willingness to follow them.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
Experience:
- At least two years of hospital or clinical experience in a recognized hospital or clinic.
