Job Description

  • Receives guests in a professional and friendly manner, satisfying guest expectations from arrival through to departure and attempt to learn and use guest’s name at every opportunity.
  • Performs check in, check out and room change procedures and ensures all data are entered completely into the hotel systems in accordance with reservation.
  • Conduct inspections of front of house and back of house during shift, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Lobby, Food and Beverage Outlets, Public Areas, Car Parking, Back Gate and Admin Office.
  • Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Should be flexible for all Shifts. Manage the night shift in the hotel ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them.
  • Responsible for guest relocation for nights when overcapacity, execute accordingly and ensure a smooth relocation process. This must be coordinated with the Front Office Manager.
  • Oversees the Night Audit Function and assist with currency exchange during Night duty.
  • Checks night report, prepare the morning report and prepare all necessary forms for the guest arrival.
  • Review and monitor early morning wake-up call procedures.
