Wordpress Development experience
Strong front-end skills including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery
Experience with JSON and SOAP based web services
Experience developing and working with external APIs (preferred)
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Proficient understanding of Git for source control
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups including co-workers, managers, and customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork experience

Develop technical specifications based on function requirements
Design and implement new features and functionality for new and existing sites
Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of Wordpress CMS and sites
Help formulate effective, responsive designs and convert into a working theme and plugin
Direct architecture for security, performance, scale, UX, analytics, optimization
Develop integrations to external services and software
Author and/or perform unit tests according to a given test plan prior to development release
Maintain and repair existing properties
Perform within a team environment; collaborate with other team members to insure the best solution is being provided within the business requirements provided
Assist in updating application development policies to ensure that all future applications meet the latest technical requirements
