Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong grasp of web design principles and industry trends. The successful candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. We require a deep understanding of current industry trends and experience with content management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Creating the website architecture.
  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Conducting website performance tests.
  • Troubleshooting content issues.
  • Monitoring the performance of the live website.
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
  • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.

Desired Candidate profile

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Experience in Thrivethemes platform preferred.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.ss
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
  • Designing and building the website front-end.
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage web development projects.
