Job Description

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Plan and coordinate the implementation of the community based Water Supply and School WASH activities;
•Close monitoring  and supervision of the construction work and advice/support to overseer for quality construction along with timely report to the team leader;
•Ensure that the quality materials are used as per BoQ and design in construction work and meet the standard set by government;
•Coordinate with PHP team to conduct training and monitoring for WSUG and beneficiaries and ensure that community voice are heard and addressed;
•Assist to Team leader for arranging the donor/partner visit, as well as report writing;
•Proper documentation of the received and delivered materials in the field level and ensure the availability and proper use of the materials in the field level;
•Supervised APHE and technical backstopping wherever needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

•Bachelor degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with Minimum of 2 years of professional working experiences in WASH sector.
•Proven technical WASH experiences in the field especially in the construction and management of water supply schemes (household connections), implementation of Water Safety Plan and able to provide technical support to team and partners as well as proven experience in management (team management, supervision and activity planning)
•Good computer and design skills (excel, AutoCAD).
