Qualification and Experience:

  • Young and dynamic professional not exceeding 40 years of age having Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed Institute preferably in Electronics & Communication
  • 10+ years of experience in Telecom or Digitally Intensive Multinational Organization
  • Experience of working in Mid-size to large size Telecom organization with customer base above 20 MN & multiple business lines preferred
  • Have experience working with 3rd party suppliers & vendors and digital agencies
  • Should have exposure of both B2C & B2B business & technical environment
  • Experience in running complex and high risk/ highly critical programs with budgets of 50k USD or more

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Project Management

  • Inventory Management (UIM, Crammer, Metasolv-M6), Network Discovery, Network Reconciliation, Auto Activation, CRM (Oracle & Siebel), Billing System.

  • Experience of Technical Solution design for various Enterprise Data Product & Last Mile connectivity, Private Leased Circuits.

  • MIS, Helpdesk & Network Feasibility Management

Your Profile:

  • A sound technical planner with proven track record of designing, delivering & transformation of the strategic projects for a Telecom services/ digital business.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Telecom industry with a focus towards digital program design and implementation.
  • Passionate about change and business transformation- IT/Digital Transformation.
  • Experience in the delivery of Digital Projects- transformation , mobile applications, websites.
  • Ability to work across multiple work streams - Business / IT/ Procurement teams.
  • Good knowledge of statistics and numerical mathematics with good knowledge of simulation and algorithms.
  • Have a good understanding revenue models/ P & L in addition to budget / commercial forecasting.
  • Open to work flexible hours and stretch hours with some intra and inter country travel.
  • Takes accountability for team's performance and addresses poor performers.
  • Excellent communications and writing skills.
  • Strong people and team management skills.

Job Description

Duty Station: Current requirement is in Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements

Department: Strategy

Unit: Service Delivery & Special Projects

Purpose:

Lead the delivery of key digital initiatives & projects for Ncell’s enterprise business within agreed time, cost & quality.

Incumbent will also be responsible for Ideation of IOT, Li-Fi or Data Technology - Drive technical product vision and direction. Identify new technical product opportunities in telecom industry, work with stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and determine the ones worthy of business and technology investment. Ability to understand emerging tech trends, see how they impact technical roadmap, and how they drive innovation.

Main Responsibility Areas:

  • Leads delivery of complex product initiatives and / or cross-functional initiatives including business stakeholders, product teams, supporting IT teams, creative teams, vendors, and consultants through all phases of project life cycle.
  • Responsible for facilitating requirements gathering for technology solutions and effectively guiding resources to achieve goals.
  • Responsible for facilitating agile team ceremonies and effectively guiding resources to achieve goals.
  • Responsible for adhering to the current project and/or product management methodology while influencing best practices, process improvements, and procedures.
  • Responsible for all dimensions of delivery (Scope, schedule and resources/budget) and applies tools and techniques based on type of work e.g. roadmaps, schedules, ceremonies, methodology guidelines and templates.
  • Serve as a primary problem solver for any issues, roadblocks, and risks; maintaining responsibility for their resolution. Demonstrate servant leadership with the teams.
  • Drive the decision making process amongst stakeholders, ensuring project/product needs and solution options are presented and understood.
