Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their travel preferences and needs.
  • Provide expert advice on travel destinations, packages, and itineraries.
  • Customize and sell adventure travel packages to individuals and groups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date with travel trends, destination knowledge, and company offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote travel packages and specials.
  • Handle bookings, confirmations, and follow-up communications with clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree or with a college degree in hospitality management, tourism, business, or a related field.

  • Sales Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for a Travel Salesperson. A successful candidate should be able to build relationships with customers, possess good negotiation skills.
  • Destination Knowledge: Familiarity with popular travel destinations, attractions, and travel trends is important. A good understanding of different travel packages, accommodations, transportation options, and travel insurance.
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is crucial in the travel industry. A candidate should be able to address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after the trip.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using booking systems, Sales CRM, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software is often required. Experience with online reservation platforms and social media.
  • Attention to Detail: Being detail-oriented is important when organizing travel arrangements, ensuring accuracy in bookings, and managing travel documents.
