  • B.Sc./M.Sc. with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the development of training modules and materials such as handbooks, case studies, scenarios, group exercises related to disaster risk reduction and/or closely related topics
  • Minimum of 7 years conducting disaster management/emergency response related trainings
  • Experience in researching new training tools, methodologies, skills and emerging fields related to Disaster Risk Management. Ability to incorporate training innovations into already-developed courses 
  • Experience working with government-level (central and local) and individual trainees 
  • Willingness to travel throughout Nepal to conduct or oversee trainings (short-term—day/overnight travel to municipalities) 
  • B.Sc. degree in a related field. M.Sc. Degree preferred
  • Experience on international donor-funded projects preferred. Experience on USAID-funded projects a plus 
  • Fluent oral/written English-Nepali language skills
