Job Position: Training Officer- mHealth

Duty Station/Location:  Various Districts  with regular  travel to  health facilities including those of remote places

Reports to: Project Manager

Direct Report/Supervise: Health Workers and FCHV

 Purpose of the Position:

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for health workers and FCHVs of mHealth program districts ensuring effective and efficient logistics management, coordination with team of Medic, DHO and health facilities

Key job responsibilities are:

Knowledge management

  • Support Medic Mobile team to produce training materials and manuals
  • Keeping training materials up to date
  • Management and consolidation of training materials of various projects

Design and develop training plan(s)

  • Support and guide Medic Mobile team in designing and developing training plan(s) plan monthly, quarterly or based on the project’s need in coordination with Health Facility, DPHO/DHO and as per nation program guidelines.
  • Coordinate project team to assist in obtaining dates for training at various level
  • Plan and finalize training dates with HF and DPHO
  • Organize and lead training sessions

Facilitate  Training at various level of Health System

  • Facilitate and support training sessions at district level to the district team and other district level stakeholders
  • Facilitate and support training sessions for health workers at various cluster and also at health facility level
  • Facilitate and support intensive training at the health facility to the FCHVs

Appraisal of training effectiveness and quality control

  • Evaluating training and make necessary modification
  • Monitor the user rate on dashboard and follow up with HF and  FCHVs

Data collection from HF and Report to Medic Mobile is

  • Collect data regarding program and as per project need
  • Generate training report on training activities and submit report to district Medic Mobile Unit

Administrative and Financial role

  • Estimate budget for the HF level training as per project guideline
  • Record and report the all the administrative and financial reports as per guideline and administrative need (Training related only)
  • Ensure all the administrative and financial documents before and after the training
  • Assist district team to organize the administrative and financial documents of the all health facilities

Coordination and liaison

  • Coordinate with district project team to plan the training at the health facility
  • Coordinate with DHO/DPHO team at the time of the training plan
  • Ensure the availability of the date for the training at health facility and also overlapping date and also contradiction of dates with other program before the training date finalization
