Purpose : Provide professional work exposure to the fresh graduates by providing guided work opportunity from the senior staff of TBSU and LRBSU. Get hands-on skill on Trail Bridge and Motorable bridge survey, design, investigation, construction and have exposure in the fieldworks.

Qualification : Fresh graduates completing Diploma in Civil Engineering with keen learning attitude, sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards multicultural environment. No prior job experience required.

Duration : 9 months 

Duty Station : Provincial Offices of TBSU and LRBSU with frequent travel to the field (at least 70% of time in the field). The field deputation will be done as per both projects' needs.

Major Roles and Responsibilities : 

The Trainee Sub-engineer will acquire i depth knowledge, skills and experience in Trail Bridge and Motorable Bridge area and s/he will be responsible to assist Trail Bridge and Motorable bridge Engineer for : 

• supporting provincial partners by co-working to provide technical assistance to the respective local and provincial governments ;
• ensuring that local and provincial governments construct trail and motorable bridges respectively in coherence with the National Bridge policy and strategies 
• planning, budgeting, survey, design, estimate, construction, monitoring and supervision, quality control and quality assurance of Trail ad Motorable bridges
