Job Description

Pioneer Associate Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an outstanding Technical Writer to join our team producing high-quality proposals and technical documentation that contributes to the organization goal. The individual should have excellent knowledge of technology and motivated to team work to achieve envisioned objective.

The Technical Writer will be involved in producing various types of documents and materials such as technical design documents, user manuals, technical concept and proposal, contracts, website contents, presentation materials etc. As a Technical Writer, s/he involves in collaboration and communication with different teams that includes Software Engineers, Project Managers, Quality Assurance Engineers Support Officers and external stakeholders. So, we are actively seeking for an efficient and self-disciplined individual who takes an initiative to meet expectations of the organization.

Duty & Responsibilities:

  • Organize, write and review software system procedures and manuals
  • Research and develop technical design specifications and documents
  • Manage, update and make revision of existing technical documents
  • Develop proposals in reference to RFPs (Request for Proposal) for business development
  • Producing high-quality documentation that is targeted for its intended parties
  • Working with different teams on product and technical documentation requirements

Other Specification:

  • Bachelor in IT/Computer Science or, related field
  • Proven working experience in technical writing especially to software documentation
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation with technical details
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them in general understandable language
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office package 
  • Knowledge of software development flow. Object oriented analysis and design will be an added advantage 
  • Share and exchange information with other teams, collaborate to update existing documentation and create new documents
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written skills in English and Nepali
  • Fine tune resources as required for necessary proofread for grammar and thesaurus
