Degree in mass communications, journalism or related field would be preferred. However, interested candidates currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in any field and have passion in content editing work are encouraged to apply
Previous experience as a content writer or assistant editor
Should possess excellent error-free writing and editing skills and understand special writing considerations for our websites.
Should possess good communication and inter-communication skill
Should be highly organized, detail-oriented and must possess ability to supervise content providers
High proficiency in English language is a must
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and multitask
Familiarity with SEO and social media platforms
Experience with MS Office and Adobe Photoshop

Work closely with content writers
Plan, create and edit information on websites
Collaborate with the senior editor/writer/management team to research and plan on new articles
Liaising with the team members to ensure deadlines are met
Writing and editing pieces that are received from the content writers
Proofreading and checking articles for grammar, accuracy and plagiarism
Suggesting possible sources and improvements for articles
Research and verify the facts provided by content writers
Check if the articles are social media and SEO-friendly or not
Choose and give feedback on supporting materials like images and illustrations
Providing utmost administrative support to the editor-in-chief
