Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Spare Parts Officer at BATASMAW Commercial Vehicles in Kathmandu. The Spare Parts Officer will be responsible for managing inventory, processing spare parts orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of spare parts to meet client needs. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records, optimizing stock levels, and contributing to the efficient operation of the spare parts department.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels for spare parts.
  • Ensure accurate stock records and conduct periodic audits.

Retail Operations:

  • Manage daily sales and retail operations of the parts shop.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries effectively.

Marketing and Outreach:

  • Promote the availability of spare parts to local garages, technicians, and mechanics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Sales and Collections:

  • Adhere to sales SOPs to ensure smooth operations and transparency.
  • Ensure timely collection of dues from customers and maintain proper documentation.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales and inventory efficiency.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines related to parts operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in spare parts operations or retail sales.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must own a two-wheeler with a valid license.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., MS Office, inventory software).
