Job Description

The Spa Manager efficiently manages all aspects of the spa. This includes the effective financial management, costings and mark up, merchandising of goods, promotions, ensuring supply management, and inventory. Provide leadership and direction to spa staff in daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.       Maintain complete knowledge of:

  • All spa services and products
  • Salon

2.     Ensure the smooth daily operations of the Spa

  • Booking appointments
  • Inventory of professional products
  • Cleanliness of all areas
  • Linen control
  • Scheduling
  • Developing customer relationships and measuring customer satisfaction

3.       Staffing

  • Hiring, training and developing staff
  • Motivation of staff to perform at their highest abilities
  • Performance Evaluation and Disciplinary procedures

4.       Develop and plan spa treatments and concepts

5.       Assist management with concepts and ideas to keep the Spa ahead of competitors

  • Marketing and promotional strategies, as well as advertising campaigns
  • Use social Media to engage and market the spa with our members

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to motivate and train staff
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cohesively with all Spa areas & co-workers as part of AMA
  • Ability to focus attention on details
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Excellent English speaking, reading, and writing
