Job Description

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to join our Data Department.

Job Responsibilities

Writing backend part of the applications and APIs including various job engines in Java using Map-reduce and Hadoop.
Integrate the AWS framework and implement its services as per the requirement.
Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
Writing the generic functions or procedures using Python scripts.
Writing non-blocking code and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading.
Analyze existing systems to produce estimates and modify them according to requirements.
Work with SQL databases according to the design document provided.
Cooperating with the front-end developers in the process of building modules in the back end.
Validating user actions on the client-side and providing responsive feedback.
Writing extensive unit tests and TDD tasks.
Ensuring high performance and stability.
