Job Description

  • Monitor and conduct testing at line process parameters as per PepsiCo requirements based on PepsiCo defined test frequency and methodology
  • Monitoring & control quality parameters at bottle washer, filling equipment, pasteurizer, bottle inspection etc. 
  • Ensure that damaged/torn strainers are not in use in line. Make sure that strainers are inspected periodically and are of proper screen size        
  • Perform tests at bottle washer e.g. MB test, caustic carryover test, causticity, free EDTA, pH and temperature profile
  • Ensure compliance to Minimum mandates of bottle washer in terms of pH, free EDTA, compartments temperature. Monitor jet alignment, pressure, caustic and temperature in each compartment
  • Ensure the line run if bottle washer main soak compartment temperature, caustic and contact time as well as rinse agent dosing meet PepsiCo requirements
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance so as to achieve minimum filled rejection
  • Collect and retain shelf life samples
  • Ensure effective removal of FM, blackened logo, faded logo and rusty neck bottles at inspection station
  • Monitor cleaning, sanitation and CIP of line equipment’s
  • System compliance by meeting AIB & QAS requirements of line operational activities
  • Send lead remedial test samples as per PI requirement
  • Documentation and record keeping
