Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Set up, implement, ensure the quality and report on shelter and DRR activities:

  • Ensure the setup, implementation and monitoring of activities.
  • In collaboration with the team define methodologies and tools for sensitization, monitoring, mobilization. Ensure implementation.
  • Prepare procurement request, plan and coordinate with logistics.
  • Identify and inform the Program Manager of any problems or constraints continuously.
  • Ensure follow-up of the activities’ progress and write suitable reports including monthly report of activities.
  • Ensure that community mobilisation and involvement is encouraged continuously by regular visits and that the mobilisation methods correspond to the socio anthropological habits of the state.
  • Ensure the external representatively in accordance with the steak older with the national authority involved in the project implementation.  

Supervise and manage the team:

  • Monitor the activity progress
  • Confirm the technical aspect of the implementation of the project
  • Organize meetings as necessary to follow-up on activities.
  • Organize and communicate team/steak older activities, action plans and movement planning regarding the implementation priorities.
  • Mediate in case of a conflict between team members.
  • Guarantee of the ACF’s charter respect in the field.
  • Responsible of the safety team in the field.
  • Support the team to the utilization of the survey’s tools.

Participate in the coordination, representation and partnerships of ACF in his/her area of intervention:

  • Participate to coordination meetings at local level with other stakeholders in Shelter and DRM.
  • Participate to coordination meetings at local level with the authorities.
  • Ensure a good communication with the authorities at VDC level and village level in our areas of intervention.

Participate at the data analysis and reporting:

  • Formulate the available data collected in the field.
  • Analyze the overall situation related to shelter  and Disaster Risk management
  • Participation to the writing the report

Contract Type    : Fixed Term Contract
Contract End Date  : 30th June 2016
Basic Salary per month  :NPR 71208plus (accommodation allowance which depends on localized/delocalized staff,transportation allowance, provident fund benefit and festival bonus)
Duty Station  : Nuwakot
