Role Objective: 

The Senior Software Tester will align with business initiatives to drive projects to completion with acceptable levels of test coverage to satisfy the risk profiles for projects. The Senior Software Tester is primarily responsible for analyzing, defining, executing Tester tasks, defining and proposing client software problem fixes, search for results regarding performance, reliability, bugs and any other failures. This person records details metrics and monitors them to track the progress and outcomes of the testing process and to certify code for deployment to the Production environment. The Senior Software Tester will provide guidance and training to assist other team members. Software Testers help develop training and specification documentation. At the conclusion of testing, software testers may make recommendations, document failures, and perform other tasks as required

Level/ Salary Range: As per the Company’s Policy 

Responsibilities:

• Provide a strong desire to learn and stay on top of technology changes and how they affect our products and processes
  
• Tests software for engineering team as appropriate; for the purpose of providing insight and recommendations
• Escalate complex issues to the area lead or manager when necessary
• Improves practical software application by recommending methods and techniques for overall system performance
• Participate in project from inception phase to implementation phase to ensure quality in deliverables/products
• Analyse and convert business requirements, user stories, and design documents to detail test cases and test plans
• Identify bug, performance issues by testing software in a functional and non-functional level
• To test the quality of products and provide updates to the stakeholders
• Regularly provide test report of project status to the stakeholders
