Job Specification

Education Level : Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 3 years
Other Specification
  • Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance (3+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience using Selenium Webdriver
  • Hands on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands on experience with automate testing tools
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  • Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six sigma
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Planning and organizing
  • Experience or knowledge on financial application is desired
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership and collaboration skills
  • BSc/BE in Computer Science or a related degree

Job Description

  • Create, maintain and improve manual and automated test plans, test cases and test suites to support various levels of testing using various types of testing tools
  • Perform regularly planned manual and automated tests that focus on; functional, performance, scalability, regression and reliability product testing that will certify the quality of clinical functionality, technical designs and product architecture
  • Participate in designing, developing and implementing automated builds and continuous integration processes during the product development and release process
  • Work proactively with team members to find and fix product defects using both manual and automated test methods
  • Create and maintain test coverage reports that are delivered on regular basis to management.
  • Develop quality assurance standards and processes
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work
  • Provide technical leadership to junior QA analysts
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Adhere to established software development processes
  • Resolve and troubleshoot problems and complex issues
  • Accept complete ownership of single/multiple product
  • Mentoring and monitoring team members
