The Senior Manager, Strategic Evidence and Research is responsible for overall strategic planning, monitoring the execution and review of program/projects performance; design, conduct studies and share findings for informing policies and improving programs; contribute actively in overall management and governance of PSI/Nepal as member of senior management team (SMT); contribute to generate new projects and program innovations most applicable to PSI/Nepal; and represent PSI/Nepal in various national and international platforms in relevant business areas.

Required Qualification and Competencies:

• Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology or equivalent;
• At least twelve years of progressive professional experience on monitoring, evaluation, surveillance and research in health program/projects, with at least five years in leadership role;
• Strong context analysis skills with competencies to design, deliver and utilize research in public health that responds to national and international health agenda;
• Strong competence of managing and representing health projects/organization; 
• Proven track record for scientific contributions including but not limited to at least five publication in peer-reviewed index journals within last five years;    
• Track record of leading with evidence in highly competitive environments with NGOs, civil society, government and multi- and bi-lateral agencies;
• Fluent in English and Nepali (speaking and writing);
