• Develop plan for testing activities such as a chemical test of MS Billet and Rod, calorific value and moisture % of furnace oil, calorific value, carbon, volatile material ash etc. of coal and physical strength test of rod
  

Responsibilities:

• Undertake chemical composition test of MS Billet MS Rebar and wire rodPhysical strength test of MS Rebar, wire rod
  
• Supervise the work of physical strength test of MS Rod and wire rods undertaken by a laboratory assistants
  
• To plan the calibration of testing machine and instruments of the laboratory and execute the plan
  
• To keep the records of chemical test of MS Billet, MS Rebar and MS wire rod.
  
• To keep the record of physical strength test of MS rebar and MS wire and wire rod
  
• To keep the records of Furnace oil and coal analysis
  
• To inspect the control of parameters of MS rebar manufacturing process and prepare its report
