Job Description

Daraz is an online platform that connects buyers and sellers from all over Nepal and facilitates smooth transactions. The sales manager is responsible to work with a portfolio of sellers selling their products on Daraz. You will also be working strategically to bring in new sellers aboard Daraz. You will also be responsible to identify fashion products and accessories that would appeal the customer base on Daraz platform and communicate to the sellers regarding the same. You will be a part of the respective category team at Daraz and will work to achieve Daraz’s marketing and business development goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bringing in brands, large sellers and business houses on Daraz platform.
  • Identify each category related products that will appeal to the customer base at Daraz.
  • Acquire special deals for Daraz at prices lower than the market prices.
  • Analysis of current trends and a projection of what products have the capacity to trend in the future.
  • Maintain regular contacts with existing sellers on Daraz platform and bring in new sellers aboard Daraz.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and convincing ability and pleasing personality.
  • Previous experience at marketing and sales with proven skill at pitching products.
  • Up to date with the latest in men’s/women’s fashion/electronics in Nepal.
  • Marketing brain with an eye for women’s fashion.
  • Proactive and able to work both independently and within a team.
