Global Action Nepal is dynamic social organization which has been working exclusively in Nepal for more than two decades to help improving the quality of life of marginalized people in Nepal engaging stakeholders meaningfully for quality education, equity, human rights and lifelong learning. GAN is implementing Civil Society Participation in Education (COPE) Project, funded by the European Commission, implement through a consortium led by National Campaign for Education Nepal in partnership with GAN, Nepal Disabled Women Association. The main objective of this project is to unite various stakeholders in addressing issues related to accountability and governance within the education sector. The project is to be implemented in Dhanusha, Siraha and Rautahat districts of Madesh province and Dailekh, Kalikot, Surkhet districts of Karnali province.

Thus, GAN is seeking for pro-active, qualified, self-motivated, dedicated and outcome oriented Project Officer under COPE project.

Duration: Period One year (Extendable)

Working Area: Lapsiphedi /Nanglebhare Shankarapur Municipality, Kathmandu

Qualification: 

  • BEd. or equivalent with at least one year experience in teacher training field

Salary/Benefits: Per annum 468,000.00

Major Responsibilities:

  • Creating Child friendly classroom
  • Creating joyful and Interactive teaching Learning
  • Managing community mobilizers and Volunteers
  • Monitoring other project activities
  • Capacity development of CM and volunteers
  • Carry out Staff performance appraisal
  • Documentations and report writing
  • Rapport building with all stakeholders
  • Coordination with ward/municipality & like minded organizations
