Education Level : Graduate (Masters)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 3 years
Other Specification

  • Experience of designing and managing qualitative and quantitative research, including sampling, designing methodologies, designing data collection tools, analyzing and report writing
  • Strong quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis using SPSS or similar software or qualitative analysis software
  • Experience of delivering research training and building research capacity
  • Strong presentation skills and experience of adapting oral and written research outputs to present in non-technical language to diverse audiences from grassroots to senior levels
  • Excellent track record of delivering research findings on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Ability to quality assures quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali.

Job Description

  • Monitoring and analyzing business performance through a range of measures, internal and external and communicating this back to the business with appropriate recommendations
  • Curating and logging all research reports, internal and external, to ensure a high-level view of significant findings and trends, get value from them and report them back to the business
  • Managing most internal research projects and advising and guiding colleagues planning to conduct their own research with regard to the findings of previous research undertaken and on methodologies for prospective research project
  • Managing external projects as required, including scoping the research and defining research methodology or briefing an outsourced research coordinator
  • Sourcing the most appropriate external research agencies for specific research projects, using an outsourced research coordinator where appropriate, ensuring these are delivered on time and to the required standard/specification
  • Helping drive the organisation’s increased trialing, piloting and consultation activity.
