Other Specification

The ideal candidate should have at least a master degree in Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Physics or other relevant disciplines. The candidate should have strong computer programming skills, Experienced with MODIS and Land sat satellite data-sets, commitment towards research work, interpersonal communication skills. The candidate should be focused and willing to follow the ethics of research work, able to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.

Job Description

The research associate will be responsible for research activities in developing drought assessment model. The activities include, satellite data management, data analysis, research article writing, proposal writing and presentation in seminars/workshops/conferences under supervision of team leader.
