Job Location: Pokhara

Remuneration: Negotiable for deserving candidates

Job Description: 

  • To ensure that every student feel welcomed and is provided with the necessary learning materials to study effectively.
  • To continually monitor and ensure that student feedback is heard and acted upon in a transparent and timely manner to improve student satisfaction.
  • Plan and coordinate orientation sessions for new students.
  • Prepare and provide study materials (e.g student handbooks, textbooks and study guides) for students.
  • Process and collect students hand-in materials, such as assignment for onward submissions
  • Provide student pastoral care and counselling services.
  • To meet the administrative needs of students by ensuring that student details and academic records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • To plan and administer class timetables and examinations schedules.
  • Register students into the college courses.
  • Arrange and provide all time-tabling information, including class and lab schedules.
  • Process and provide students with their examination results, including details of what students can expect to do next (e.g. registration for the next modules, procedure for appeals).
  • Arrange for student graduation, degree scroll provision, transcript provision, letter of recommendation provision, etc.).
  • Conduct assignments/examinations, including arranging for venue and internal invigilators.
  • Liaises with other academic bodies in order to ensure smooth transition of student information.
  • Administer the procedure for transfer and withdrawal from courses. 

Other Specifications:

  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with some experience in the same area.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a must.
  • Candidate should be able to work under short deadlines.
  • Knowledge of operating standard of office equipments.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal (both Nepali and English).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
