  • Prior work experience in sales or operations or people  management, preferably rural areas for an understanding of ground level dealing
  • Good at basic mathematics and negotiations – with no inhibitions in meeting new people
  • Owns a mode of transportation and doesn’t inhibit in traveling nearby areas for market development based on leads and willing to work at night (Agri background is a bonus)
  • Familiar with all the local cultures, and nearby districts’ markets
  • Dedicated and Focused at work without any distractions

Job Description

  • Pitching and on-boarding new partners/associates for business  development in nearby Mandis (vegetables and fruits markets)
  • Managing the demands, documentation work, consignment tracking, distribution and overall coordination with central office team for a given region along with Quality check
  • Reporting and monitoring the sales activity in the market and constantly giving inputs on rates, local news, demands etc.
  • Innovating and implementing new strategies for increasing demand, distributing to roadside markets/vendors and getting new partners on-board
  • Based on data collected and ground reports, proliferating in new areas and increase market share and volume
  • Relationship management for repetition in orders with existing and newly added partners
  • Traveling new cities/areas for market development based on leads, and gathering information about the processes, suppliers, agents etc. and strategizing on the same with the management
