Job Description

  • Support and supervise the Property Managers in all aspects of their work
  • Visit properties on a regular basis to ensure brand standards are in place to achieve target guest experience
  • Assess cleanliness and overall conditions of the property for all guestrooms, and public spaces
  • Hold and participate in regular meetings with the CEO and on-site Managers, in person and by phone/video conference
  • Monthly P&L review with on-site managers and CEO
  • Assure that all assets are well maintained in an economical and preventative manner
  • Track maintenance and plan for capital events
  • Coordinate coverage for Property Managers when they can’t be on property (in cases of emergency and in some cases of vacation, when other coverage is not available)
  • Complete necessary site visit documentation at each visit. Crew Member Hiring, Training and Development verse property hiring/training and evaluate for quality control.
  • Collaborate with on-site Managers on the hiring of each property’s crew members - both FOH and BOH hires
  • Be involved in the training of new on-site Managers and ongoing crew training 
  • Assist on-site Managers with the training and supervision of their own crews
  • Interact with on-site Managers on a regular basis to develop strong relationships and to provide support and feedback
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching and development for all managers, and help them to find paths to sustainable success in their demanding positions
