  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business with majors in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Relevant prior experience in real estate market, preferably in project development and real estate banking
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills, knows how to negotiate a deal between stakeholders
  • Knowledge of real estate terms and metrics including cap rates, internal rate of returns (IRR), leverage and unleveraged returns, and discounted cash flow analysis. 
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, effectively manage time by prioritizing multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development


Job Description

Reports to: Investment Manager

Job Purpose:

Real Estate Analyst is responsible to prepare in depth financial analysis of potential Real Estate investments, identify opportune moments or potential risks to buy/sell property, manage organization's real estate holdings and grow real estate portfolio.

Job Description:

  • Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
  • Compiling, analyzing, and presenting market data
  • Perform quarterly asset valuations and hold/sell analyses 
  • Review and assist in preparation of budgets and preparation of strategic plans 
  • Assist with acquisition and disposition due diligence and asset financings 
  • Build a network and partnerships with external parties like lawyers, real estate valuators and other relevant market parties in the Real Estate segment
  • Assisting with investor queries and presentations to investors
  • Real estate pipeline analysis and capital forecasting.
  • Assist in evaluation of deal scenarios looking at returns/metrics such as NPV, IRR, CAP rates, ROI, etc
  • Monitor and communicate with the capital markets regarding equity capital, fund investment/formation, debt markets and deal structures. 
  • Oversee financial performance of a real estate portfolio, including cash flow and acquisition strategies.
  • Underwrite and negotiate real estate transactions like purchases, dispositions, and leases
  • Participate in ad hoc analyses on a regional basis
