Rural Access Programme – Phase 3 (RAP3) is a 6-year DFID funded programme operating in 14 Districts of Nepal. It aims to improve people’s incomes and resilience through employment, sustainable access to markets and improved access to economic opportunities. RAP3 is seeking an experienced person to manage health, safety and wellbeing related activities for the Mugu Humla Link Road (MHLR) Project.

Job Description

We’re looking for the smartest, brightest and most creative people willing to bring their own entrepreneurial spirit to our team. Candidates must be hard working team players who are hungry to learn. This internship will be offered for 6 months with possible extension. 

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Passed Bachelor level from a recognized university
  • Rank holder or graduated in top 2% of the class
  • Excellent working knowledge of written and spoken English and Nepali
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Willing and able to work in remote mountain districts.

Candidates for the RAP3 CONNECT internship should submit:

  • No more than 100 words explaining why you want the internship
  • An essay, written in high-quality English of no more than 300 words that answers both “What is the future of agri-business in Nepal? And how would you connect farmers to reliable markets?”
