- As a QC Officer, you will be responsible for setting quality assurance standards, and aligning the organization to achieve these standards. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit on shift
- Check and ensure required ingredients in standard manner before batch preparation and ensure CIP is done properly as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s) prior to production
- Provide technical and process knowledge for water treatment/wastewater, product batching, product testing, package testing, and supplier capability
- Check and ensure ingredients are mixed in proper ratio as per specification/recipe
- Ensure mixed ingredients are processed (if required) and blended properly
- Check quality of product in process and ensure all Chemical Tests, Physical and Organoleptic properties conform to standard specification, maintain all records accordingly
- Check packaging, labelling and coding being done as per specification
- Take sample at random basis from each batch during production and check the following FG
- Collect incubation sample from each batch for future case study
- Attend daily assembly before starting shift in production floor, build awareness about Hygiene (man, machine & material), product abnormalities, productivity and all SOPs
- Daily product water analysis and record keeping
- Daily temperature monitoring and record keeping (Lab, Store and production floor), Check the filling temperature and pressure (CSD), every 30 minutes
- Random store visiting and ensuring housekeeping, ensuring standard storing condition and preventing cross contamination
- Monitor & ensure cleaning and sanitizing activities for all employees and reporting (Hand washing, toilet using, use of appropriate PPE, and related facilities)
- Check the net content of the product
- Ensure the rinsing and backwash of RO whenever needed
- Monitor bottle blowing activities and reporting blowing abnormalities
- Inspect and ensure of all incoming RM and PM with related COA (Certificate of Analysis)
- Investigate customer complaints
- Ensure FIFO and FEFO for all raw materials
- Boiler wood inspection and conformation
- Analyze quality parameters of finished goods of every batch
- Ensure Good Laboratory Practice (chemical preparation and standardization, equipment calibration & maintaining, equipment cleaning & handling, preparation of SOPs, ensuring necessary physical & analytical test)
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities assigned by QC Manager and Company management from time to time
