Quality Assurance Engineer (1.5 Years of Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and software requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
• Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
• Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to align testing with business objectives.
• Apply a deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and agile methodologies to the QA process.
• Demonstrate expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure efficient and effective testing.
• Execute functional and non-functional tests, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Security Testing.
• Exhibit a meticulous approach to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Report and track defects, as well as communicate test results using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
• Working knowledge of at least one Database Management System (DBMS).
