  • 3-5+ years of proven working experience on procurement or purchase of trading company that imports
  • Excellent spoken English and written English, knowledge of Chinese language is a plus
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Good knowledge of accounting and import logistics
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Good working experience with Ms-office
  • Positive attitude & desire to exceed expectations
  • Proficiency in working with MS office applications specially MS Word and MS Excel
  • Proficiency with TALLY software with hands on working experience of more than 5-7 years or more on TALLY ERP9 and earlier versions
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management & external parties to maximize performance
  • Candidate should have his own two wheeler with valid 2 wheeler license to commute from his home to office
  • Must be hard working, self-motivated and loyal to the company so that the company can trust him and keep the business secrets confidential
  • Matured and preferably married of age 25-35 and settled in Kathmandu with no intentions to relocate outside Kathmandu or abroad in the future
  • Must submit periodic and accurate reports 
  • Must be willing to work overtime depending on the work pressure and management decision from time to time
  • Must be willing to stay for a long period of time, (minimum time frame of 5-10 years or more) with the company and grow with the company rather than short term
  • Attention to detail and error free working

Job Description

  • Purchase planning of goods imported from china and india
  • Procurement Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
  • Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary
  • Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities
  • Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock
  • Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled
  • Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals
  • Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers
  • Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner Accounting
  • Preparing Cost sheet of import shipment
  • Accounts Payables reconciling & payment planning report preparation 
  • Entering Shipments data into the system software & all documents related to it
  • Checking e-mail & replying to day-to-day emails received from various vendors &  Management team members
  • Preparing Summarized Report of each & every Consignment Received
  • Coding of products & preparing different types of ledgers into system database
  • Presenting Detailed & summarized report of custom agent payables / receivables
  • Filing of documents to its concerned files
  • Coordinating with banks regarding LC, TT etc. Payments
  • Assisting in audit related work to the accounts & finance manager
  • Knowledge of spoken Chinese language is an advantage
  • Knowledge of designing in corel draw is an advantage
  • Assist in branding activities
  • Assist in HR functions
