  • M.Sc. with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Media, Public Relations, Political Science, Social Science or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in public information operations, public relations and civic education is essential
  • Prior experience in international development work essential
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in managing, coordinating, designing and implementing public information operations and/or public relations programs linked to disaster risk management in Nepal is essential 
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical assistance to national institutional counterparts is essential 
  • Demonstrated experience to work with civil society and non-governmental stakeholders is desirable 
  • Demonstrated experience in a role managing public relations and interacting with national media is essential
  • Proven experience in employing diverse communication channels (print, web, radio and television) as well as community engagement methods is essential
  • Experience coordinating with international media is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication and reporting skills, both written and oral is essential.
  • Fluency in English and Nepali is required
