Biswas Nepal is non profit- non government organization which is dedicated for social justice was established on 2065.It advocates against injustice, exploitation and abuse faced by workers of entertainment sector ( Dance bar, Dohori & Cabin, Small hotel) and for their  minimum wages, basic rights and contracts. Simultaneously it works for the protection of children to withdraw them from CSEC (Commercial sexual Exploitation of children) in entertainment sector. 

The Hamro Samman project is a five-year program generously supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development and the British people through the United Kingdom’s Department For International Development and implemented by Winrock International. It seeks to build the capacity of and facilitate coordination among the GON, civil society, and private sector to combat human trafficking in Nepal.

Job Specification

Education Level : Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Experience Required : More than 2 years
Other Specification

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Bachelor's degree in other subject with PGD in Psychology
  • At least two years’ experience in counseling and related documentation 
  • Additional training on psychosocial counselling and various therapeutic skill required
  • Coordination skill and Case management knowledge and skill will be an asset
  • Excellent knowledge and experience on CSEC and AES, case management, strong coordination in referral mechanism and promoting the entertainment workers through behavior change and communication will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of labor right, child right, MAC monitoring guideline and existing policies and practices on CSEC sector
  • Have good communication, coordination skills inside and outside of the organization.
  • Project based report writing, case study writing skill should be preferable
  • Knowledge and skill of computer (Microsoft word, excel, power point, outlook etc.)


Job Description

  • Conduct psychosocial session to the beneficiaries 
  • Support for the reintegration of children 
  • Prepare proper documentation of counseling 
  • Support for the case management of children beneficiaries 
  • Support for planning and reporting
