Responsible for:

The Project Team Lead is responsible to lead DFID funded “Addressing the unmet need for Family Planning among excluded and vulnerable women in Nepal” project through outreach and MS Ladies service delivery channel and provide support to the government in building the capacity of their service providers. S/he is also responsible for conducting advocacy and research related to the project. The Project Team Lead will be responsible to achieve operational excellence through the timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or relevant discipline with proven experience of developing and implementing different project models, marketing, demand generation strategies and products targeted at different levels. 
  • At least six (6) years’ experience in planning, delivery, and assessment of field level project activities (involving multiple locations). Prior experience of working in DFID projects would be a plus point.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual work plan and budget, and project M&E plan based on the agreements with DFID and the Government of Nepal
  • Ensure quality delivery of project plan fully aligned with project theory of change 
  • Lead and manage outreach & MS ladies operations team and ensure their work is of the highest quality and delivered on time and to budget
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of administrative, financial and programme management issues
  • Provide support & guidance to managers and district teams to ensure delivery of the programme is in line with workplan
