KOSHISH is a non-governmental self-help organization registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu in 2008 and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. KOSHISH is a right-based organization working extensively in advocacy in and multi-disciplinary and holistic mental health and psychosocial support in Nepal. In addition, KOSHISH is also working in system strengthening and creating a model that the government and other stakeholders may able to replicate.

Job Description

This is a senior level position  responsible in  leading the project at implementation level  based at Panchkhal Kavrepalanchok with frequently field visit.

Role and responsibility

  • Implement the project activities in line with budget and track project progress
  • Prepare plan of action and implement accordingly
  • Develop reports (event, monthly semi-annual and annual), as required
  • Mobilize  staffs and conduct monitoring regular in the field
  • Report project progress with program manager and chairperson
  • Represent organization in the project areas
  • Develop case stories on regular basis
  • Liaise with district and community stakeholders
  • Play a key role in promoting  mental health and psychosocial issue in the areas
  • Collect information related with mental health and psychosocial issues from staffs, compile them and communicate with stakeholders
  • Give best effort in creating best result of project
  • Explore the new areas of project and give best effort for sustaining the project

Required Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in social science or Bachelors in Public Health (BPH) with three years of sharp work experience in project management. Preference will be given to the person from Psychology or public health background.
