Roles & Responsibilities:

• Formulate Construction plan including material planning, labour planning and fund planning in association with the finance manager and head of the engineering department
• Direct sub-ordinates towards the implementation of the formulated budget/plan
• Scrutinize physical progress of the same with financial progress
• Examine progress of construction ability and verify it against existing plan and budget to identify any deviation
• Take timely measure against deviations of actual progress against budgeted progress and highlight the same to senior management
• Supervise and guide junior staff in the work
• Track performance of sub-ordinates and avail the information to the top management to enable them to take decisions on performance appraisal
• Identify Loopholes in the existing system on a timely basis and inform the higher management of the same
• Conduct surprise checks in monitoring the performance at sites
• Conduct Regulars frequent visits to all the sites and observe physical progress of the` construction and inform the same to HOD-Engineering
• TO Act as bridge between the Head office and projects in progress and ensure proper flow of information between the authorities
• Conduct quality checks of tastes performed
• Carryout detailed computation of consumption of labour, material and overheads and identity any misstatement in reports prepared at sites and Head-Office
• Provide insightful opinion to the senior authorities on opportunities involving cost saving
• Mobilize sub-ordinates and motivate them towards achieving set targets
• Participate in goal-setting and performance appraisal of sub-ordinates
• Formulate progress reports of various projects and inform the senior authorities on timely basis in case of any delays or likely delays
• Cross-Examine the reports produced at construction sites to examine accuracy of the same
• Supervise work of sub-contractors as well as own-staffs to ensure proper and timely completion of task.
• Provide technical Guidance on site as per designs, drawings and specification
• Examine and Approve change orders, adjustments, tests, etc as per requirement
• Plan the work at organizational level and efficiently organize all the sites in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Act Upon the feedback and Queries Received from Different Corners
• Facilitate the internal auditors in their data requirement
• Examine budget estimates and Cost tracking reports
• Perform all Necessary duties and act the manager to all sites-managers
• Perform any other task as delegated by the management
