CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC), a public limited company incorporated under the prevalent laws of Nepal on Mangsir 15, 2066 (November 30, 2009). CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) was founded by the then Clean Energy Development Bank to provide equity investment for hydropower projects to meet energy needs of the nation. CHDC is currently mandated to invest in and develop Hydropower Projects. It has got five hydropower projects in operation and four projects at Pre- construction and development stages.

Projects Under Operation

  • Syange Mini Hydropower Project (183 KW) -Lamjung
  • Radhi Bidyut Small Hydropower Project (4.4 MW) -Lamjung
  • Tallo Khare Khola Hydropower Project (11 MW) -Dolakha
  • Dordi-1 Hydro Electric Project (12 MW) -Lamjung
  • Rukum Gad Hydropower Project (5 MW) -Rukum

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hydro power Projects
  • Should possess all the minimum skill sets required for handling the designated post

Project locations: The project location can be any of the sites based in Rukum, Dolakha, Lamjung or Sankhuwasabha. 

Note: Kathmandu based position visit to project site as and when required

Job Description

  • Monitors and tracks project progress; aged accounts, invoices and budget, and is responsible for overall project performance and profitability.
  • Develops schedules, budgets and proposals (contracts).
  • Possesses effective management skills and is able to plan, direct and monitor all aspects of the project.
  • Reports to Supervisor on regular basis.
  • Supervise, guide, coach and mentor staff under him including Accounts Department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time
