The Project Manager (PM) applies professional principles, practices and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule. This role will oversee aspects of project life cycle of analysis, design, and implementation by developing proper project plans; and maintain documentation as when needed. 
 
Core Responsibilities

• Work on establishing clear ownership for project tasks
• Delegate work assignments to the team members and give authority to work independently
• Set expectations & monitor delegated activities of team members, and give recognition for results
• Responsible to encourage, motivate and coordinate all the team members for synergic result
• Work and follow all the policies and procedures prescribed by the organization
• Escalate project issues to management with clarity, timeliness, and professionalism
• Maintain Quality Assurance and Control in accordance to project requirements
• Organize and facilitate project planning, reviews, release planning, demos and other agile project related meetings on timely and need basis
• Develop and sustain effective customer relationships
• Remain consistently accessible, available, and responsive to customers when needed
• Timely research on new technologies and learn to use them in project success

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• 5 years of proven experience in project management (experience in IT companies is preferred)
• Demonstrated ability in project resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting.
• Experience developing IT processes, delivery practices, educating business functions on effective project delivery practices
• Willing to visit client premises to collect requirements, solve issues and queries
• Good communication & problem solving skills with capacity to lead a team of 8 to 10 people.
• Highly initiative, self motivated, committed and a good team player.
• Good relation with government agencies, authorities would be an added advantage
• Knowledge/concept on database system & database structure design and experience on agile development methodologies, test driven development would be an added advantage.
