Project: Nepal Earthquake Recovery Project (WASH)

Job Location: Sindhuli office with frequent field visit 

Duration: 4 months with possibility of extension

Job Description: 

• Provide technical management for Nepal Earthquake Recovery Program to ensure the program strategy, objectives
  
• Coordinate and guide implementation of the WASH sector interventions under the NERP program to achieve the planned outcomes in accordance with the proposal
  
• Conduct monthly/quarterly review and planning meeting to review progress, understand and address challenges and plan activities
  
• Responsible for the design, establishment of work specification and follow-up and evaluation of activities related to construction of WASH infrastructures in public institutions and communities
  
• Plan and coordinate implementation of project activities that contribute to program outcomes.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to the field technician to implement the WASH activities effectively
  
• Management of overall financial, procurement and logistic department of the program
  
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the program and encourage and appreciate specific areas that need improvement
  
• Establish/improve collaboration with relevant office and conduct weekly/ monthly coordination meeting
  
• Generate high quality monthly updates and quarterly / annual narrative reports
  
• Collaborate and coordinate with other working agencies in field level
  
• At least 50 % field visit

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering with 2 years experiences or Senior Overseer with 5 year work experiences
  
• Experience in budget management and reporting.
  
• Knowledge of participatory program methodologies and Sphere minimum standards
  
• Proven ability in staff management and capacity building
  
• Fluent networking and coordination skills
  
• Good interpersonal skills
  
• Sound IT skills ( MS Office, AutoCAD, Water supply design software) 
  
• Possessing motorcycle driving license
