ISAP is a not-for-profit Non-Government Organization working towards economically empowering resource-poor people through market-based approach founded in May 2013. Our activities consistently improve the ability of target populations to begin and grow businesses, participate in profitable value chain, and access finance. ISAP is currently implementing Project for Improving Water Access and Agriculture Income (PIWAAI) in Sindhupalchok District. The 3-year project is jointly being implemented by Institution for Suitable Actions for Prosperity (ISAP) and Peace Winds Japan (PWJ) with the funding support from Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan (MOFA). The major objective of the project is to improve the living standards of the rural population of Sindhupalchok district by reducing the water fetching time through construction of water supply schemes and increasing agriculture income through fresh vegetable production and marketing. In August, 2022, the second year of the project was completed, reaching 800 farmers from 28 Farmers’ Groups in Melamchi Municipality, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality and Balefi Rural Municipality.

ISAP is currently looking for a suitable candidate for Project Coordinator for Project for Improving Water Access and Agriculture Income (PIWAAI) who would be stationed in the central office, Thapathali with frequent travel to the project field.
S/he would also be responsible for overall management of the WASH project activities including planning, implementation, monitoring and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. S/he should have a master’s degree in any relevant field and candidates with civil engineering background with at least three years of working experience in rural water supply would be given preference. S/he should be willing to travel extensively to the project implemented sites and able to accommodate and adjust in difficult working conditions and tough field situations.
