ROLE PURPOSE:

We reached approximately two million populations and invested over 29 million US  dollars in 2012 to reach more children than ever before, through programs in Health, Nutrition, Education, Protection and Child Rights and Governance, Livelihood, HIV and AIDS,  and Humanitarian crises.
 
The purpose of this position is to assist in day-to-day administrative functions for implementation of SC Sabal activities i.e Livelihood, Social Mobilization, Vocational training, Value Chain and GESI. The Program, Admin & Logistics Assistant will be responsible for arranging logistics for workshops/trainings & effective documentation work, verifying voucher/invoices, banking transactions of deposit, ensure program and travel advances are cleared on time.  

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Assist in day-to-day administration works for implementation of SC Sabal activities i. e. Livelihood, Social mobilization, Vocational training, Value chain and GESI.  Assist SC Sabal teams in arranging logistics for workshops/trainings.
• Assist in activities documentation at District Office and forward to SC Sabal Kathmandu Office.
• Assist in banking transactions of deposits, cashing cheques for Sabal SC related transactions.
• Assists in verifying voucher/invoices submitted to SC Sabal for payments. 
• Assist in preparing and processing the monthly cash requirement required for the district in coordination with Sabal proposes 2 components heads, GESI and Social mobilization.
• Coordinates with SC staff on travel advances to ensure that travel and program advances are cleared within allowable time.  
• Call vendors to collect cheques and distribute cheques ensuring correct receipts are collected.
• Collect quotations and other documents from vendors.
• Assist in general data entry works; support Finance in in filing up TDS deposit forms if applies on the payment issued.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisor. 

Representation

• Represent Save the Children and its values at the local, district, regional, national, and international levels

Occasional Duties

• Work as and when required fulfilling Save the Children’s dual mandate of development programs as well as being the leader in Emergency preparedness and response for children.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Intermediate +12 pass   
• 1-2 years of  work experience in the related field
