Program Officer-Economic Reintegration
Job Purpose: This position will support Social and Economic Reintegration Specialists to contribute to overall accomplishment project objectives and targets, with a specific focus on economic reintegration. S/he will support local governments to implement the project in close collaboration with Employment Service Centers and support them to develop and implement reintegration strategies, guidelines, yearly plans of operation, and allocate funds in a coordinated manner. The incumbent will also support project monitoring, evaluation, documentation and reporting, lead in mobilization and capacity building of network/cooperatives to provide sustained reintegration services to returned migrant workers, their families and their respective communities.
Required Education, Experience and Social Competence:
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, economics, development cooperation or in any relevant discipline. Minimum 3 years of working experience in a project/ programme implementation in the sector of entrepreneurship development and employment promotion. Experience working with local governments (Employment Service Centers (ESC), Migration Resource Centers, and returnee migrant networks), will be an added value. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction.
Duty Station: ReMi Provincial/Field Office, Province one
Duration: 3 years with possibility of extension
Salary and Benefits: As per rules and regulation of Helvetas Nepal.
