KAFCOL is looking for a competent Program Officer for its M.Sc. Programs. The successful candidate is expected to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Carrying out day-to-day administrative works of the college, particularly those related to the UNIGIS and NRM-RD MSc programs, including keeping and updating records of students, teachers, ledger, transcripts, mark-sheets, student's registration, assessment schedule, class routine and its follow up, attendance and teacher's logbook etc
• Managing official letters and documents related to correspondence and notification to and from college related to the programs
• Counseling with students and their guardians as per the need
• Establishing and maintaining good rapport with Institute of Forestry, Tribuhvan Universty; University of Salzburg, Austria; Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and other relevant national and international agencies
• Facilitating and providing management support to the Program Coordinators in internal exams,* field study tours, excursions and other practical works as per need
• Assisting the Program Coordinators to organize trainings and other relevant events; and enforcing and monitoring the college rules related to students' conduct
• Supporting the College Administration in developing project proposals and other fund-raising activities
• Performing any other duties and tasks assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, and the Program Coordinators as and when required

Appointment:

The appointment will be at officer rank. The initial appointment is normally for one year and is renewable based on performance. The salary offered to the successful candidate is as per the KAFCOL rules, commensurate with qualifications and experience. It is also possible to earn additional income by carrying out research and consulting projects.
