Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal (SAN) is a Nepalese non-governmental organization founded in 2012. SAN engages in advocacy, policy influence and movement building actions in the areas of elimination of child labor, ending human trafficking, promoting road safety, injury prevention, and safeguarding the rights of children on the move.
SAN and Winrock International with support from the USAID and the UK aid are implementing the Hamro Samman Project to counter human trafficking in Nepal.
The Hamro Samman project is a five-year program generously supported by the American people and the British people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the UK aid and implemented by Winrock International. It seeks to build the capacity of and facilitate coordination among the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and private sector to combat human trafficking in Nepal.

Qualification: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Human Rights Advocacy Area
Experience: At least two years experience in the Right to Health and Right to Education Advocacy areas of institute with at least one year Experience in similar capacity level.Practical experiences of project and program development, experience of the technical areas- research and policy advocacy
Key Issues of Work: Right to Health and Right to Education, financing for health and development, child health with focus on injury, road safety and child protection, Health systems strengthening and equity. Support coordinator to facilitate health as human rights civil society coalitions, engage and work with policy makers, monitor the development and discussion of policies
Competencies – Advocacy techniques and strategies, knowledge and understanding of Human Rights, Policy Intervention, Research, Monitoring and proposal writing
Skill- Person should have strong interpersonal skills, leadership and management skills , analytical and problem solving skills, excellent writing skills in English and Nepali, Multitasking, communication skills, computer skills, proven ability to coordinate activities along with multiple stakeholders
Period of Contract: 1 year (with possibility of extension on the basis of performance)
