• The Program Coordinator - MNH, SNL III will be responsible for providing overall technical support to activities related to MNH in Nepal through the SNL, Phase III. 
• S/he will work in coordination with the MNH Coordinator, Child Health Division (CHD) to ensure the effective implementation of project goals and innovative approaches for MNH.
• S/he will play a vital role in advocating for MNH and integrating programs related to MNH within the Family Health Division (FHD) & CHD and thus streamlining it in the Department of Health Services (DoHS).
• The position holder will also provide technical support for scaling-up community and facility-based newborn health interventions and ensuring the institution of MNH within the Department of Health & Population (DoHP). S/he will work with government and partners to improve the quality of MNH services at different levels of health care.
