• Measure ingredients, mix ingredients, and batch products to meet recipe guidelines. Calculate formulas and correct product mixes as needed.
• Sugar syrup preparation and transfer. Homogenization of juice.
• Maintaining of records of blending, CIP and sugar syrup preparation activities.
• Responsible for CIP and COP of all equipment in process area as per specifications.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of process area as well as pulp cutting area.
• Responsible for the maintenance of pipe lines, gaskets, valves, Homogenizer, PHE, plate and frame filter press, spray ball and maintaining proper documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure proper ingredients are pulled and available for batching / heat-treating process.
• Communicates with supervisor to ensure proper product flow in accordance with production schedule.
• Perform sanitation duties in batching/blending areas including but not limited to: CIPs (cleaning in place) and manual cleaning of equipment
• Adhere to proper chemical handling procedures.
• Other tasks that may be assigned.
