Maintenance – Plant & Machinery 

• To keep the entire plant and machineries smooth running and free from any break down by maintaining plant equipment and machinery to ensure and operate as per guidelines and instructions given by vendors of such machines
• To keep all operating manuals with its standard operating process each machine safely in record. 
• To maintain health record of each machine for its running hours against maintenance schedule to plan accordingly
• All electric / electronic and mechanical related works to be maintained and kept ready in all machines. 
• To keep complete log and details of each machine for its maintenance schedule with critical and tear & wear spare parts and ensure to stock such spares in time with its transit time to import. This must have backup plan in case of breakdown
• To have cordial relation with each vendor on regular basis for spare parts and operation with support team to ensure timely completion of maintenance
• To daily report on performance of each machine / break down time its reason and keep such information on weekly / monthly basis also

Train Plant Personnel 

• Train and assist plant technicians in carrying out safety and quality control procedures so that everyone on the team is compliant with the appropriate regulations. They also deal with any administrative tasks that coincide with this training, such as completing reports or updating records. 
• To develop local maintenance team with high motivation and encouraging and guiding them for smooth works. 
• To train them to perform during Plant Engg absence also. 

Review Project Plans 

• Plant engineer review project plans to ensure that timelines and blueprints are accurate and that cost estimates tie in with the budget. They also interpret developments along the way and provide advice and guidance for any necessary changes
• To assist management in the selection of a new machines for future projects with detailed study and suggestions as required

Ensure the Facility Complies with Regulations 

• Plant engineer is responsible for ensuring the facility is compliant with statutory regulations and that regular check-up are carried out to verify that machinery and processes are safe to use like boiler/weighing scale/generators etc

Develop Operational Plans 

• Plant engineers develop operational plans for projects at different facilities, such as renovation or construction, maintenance, the requirement for additional machine and its installation
• Responsible for all plant efficiencies and negotiations, Process improvements, Yields of all plants, and training of the executives
• To ensure running cost check and minimized & keep management aware of with such with clear calculation on savings and its way out
