Physiotherapist – Training & Mentoring

Reports To: Senior Technical Officer

Workstation: Country Office with frequent visits  to project catchments 

Contract Duration: Till January 2020 from Contract start date

Job Description:

  • Support to plan and deliver training to health assistants on basic physiotherapy skills in coordination with concerned local Government entities and health sector  stakeholders  
  • Contribute to develop Monitoring/mentoring checklists/tools;
  • Contribute for field data collection, mentoring to health assistant and develop  reports;
  • Represent HI at various forums and events; and, 
  • Perform duties as and when required by the projects

Job Specification:

Qualification: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy with two years of work experience or Masters of Physiotherapy with one year’s proven work experience

Attributes: 

  • The applicant should have registered in Nepal Health Professional council
  • Proven experience on  training to Government Health Professionals
  • Professional writing skills including project report writing
  • Basic computer skills
  • Fluent in Nepali, Maithili and English
